The Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sign Veteran Cornerback

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made some roster moves on October, 18th and among those moves was the signing of a veteran cornerback to the practice squad.

Cornerback Blidi Wreh-Wilson is an 8 year veteran of the NFL; drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Tennesee Titans. He’s played in 75 games total for the Titans and the Falcons, recording 4 INTS, 3 of which were last year with ATL, 28 passes defended, 1 forced fumble, and 132 total tackles. He has started in 17 of those 75 games.

The veteran may not start right away, but with the injuries to the secondary, we could see him on the field sooner rather than later. Sometimes guys coming off of the practice squad work out pretty well. Veteran cornerback, Pierre Desir, started on the Buccaneers practice squad and was recently elevated. He has played well, even catching the praises of Bucs head coach Bruce Arian
