The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traveled to Atlanta for their WEEK 13 contest versus the Falcons. The Buccaneers did as expected and completely ravaged the dirty birds with no quarter given.
During the beat down in the SWATS, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady and tight end Rob Gronkowski set another record. Brady and Gronk connected for a pair of touchdowns in Mercedes-Benz Stadium which places them as second all-time for the most career regular-season touchdowns in NFL history by a quarterback-receiver-duo, with 90. Brady and Gronk trail first-place duad Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison by 22. The number one spot seems safe — at least for this season.
Following yesterday’s game in ATL, Gronk appeared on NFL Network’s Total Access and discussed the long-time relationship and chemistry that he and Brady have developed over the years:
There is no debating the connection Brady and Gronk have on the field. If the two can continue to stay together, then that record Manning and Harrison have will surely be broken by the Dynamic Duo that is Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into their final five-game stretch of the NFL regular season and only play one team with a winning record — the Buffalo Bills in WEEK 14 at Raymond James Stadium. The Bills will look to end the Buccaneers winning record at home, which has been perfect since November 19th, 2020. The following four games are against two division rivals (the Panthers and the ), with one game, in New York against the Jets.
The Buccaneers own the NFC South by 4 wins and should, without too much resistance, extend their 9-3 record to 14-3 by season’s end. Whether or not the Buccaneers end up the number one seed by that time, this team seems to be more than playoff-ready.
